Ristorante Abbazia — Restaurant in Monte San Giovanni Campano

I've been here a few times now for weddings and it's a great venue in that you can fit two parties easily and there's a separate area for kids. The venue is high up so you have good views particularly if you hire the ground level which has access to better views, more grounds and the pool - you are not meant to jump in but people still do! The food here is particularly good especially their seafood options (obviously you get a choice beforehand in what you want served on the day). The only reason why I only give 4 stars is for two reasons: the veg options are not that creative. Abbiamo scelto l'abbazia per la cresima di mia figlia, era la prima volta che mangiavo lì... Sono rimasto contentissimo, dal personale al cibo alla location tutto tutto veramente perfetto, non lasciano nulla al caso ogni cosa è al servizio del cliente.... Era da molto tempo che non trovavo un ristorante così, tutti gli invitati ci hanno fatti i complimenti e ognuno di loro son sicuro che la sceglierà per una prossima cerimonia o eventi speciale.... Per non parlare di Damiano, il titolare, persona davvero squisita e ragionevole, in tutti i modi ha cercato di accontentare le nostre richieste e variazioni in corso d'opera, non ha mai accennato a un rifiuto o a una scocciatura nonostante mia moglie ce l'abbia messa tutta con le sue mille richieste più strane, sempre super disponibile... Il tutto ad un prezzo ottimo, per il servizio che offrono assolutamente non è niente, chi lo conosce sa che merita davvero molto di più, invece rimangono onesti anche nel prezzo... Insomma non ho trovato una nota negativa, provare per credere, io né sono rimasto innamorato e sarà sicuramente la metà di ogni nostro cerimonia futura... Complimenti davvero a Damiano e a tutto il suo personale, insieme formano una squadra perfetta che pensa il benessere del cliente a 360 gradi, non lascia assolutamente nulla al caso, dalle porzioni super abbondanti con almeno doppio ripasso passando alla qualità e bontà delle pietanze davvero buonissime e un servizio da 5 stelle, coccolati e viziati, sarà un'esperienza che non dimenticherete... Fidatevi che mia moglie ce l'ha messa tutta per metterli in difficoltà😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 perché cerca sempre di migliorare anche sulle cose già decise, ma loro hanno resistito alla grande😂😂😂.. Penso che si sia capito dalle mille parole scritte che con noi hanno fatto un figurone, mai scelta fu così azzeccata, grazie anche alla mamma di Damiano, che se non fosse stato per lei non saremmo andati...

Just a stone's throw from the historic Abbey of Casamari, this upmarket restaurant offers a fabulous setting and a good menu. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped with a garden compkete with an arch and falling water. The food is good and I had an excellent plate of ravioli stuffed with ricotta and walnuts with provolone slices on top of a tomato sauce. Dessert was a lemon cheesecake with a coffee to finish.
