Pizzeria Ristorante da Niko — Restaurant in Montebelluna

A so-so Spritz from Bar Niko in Montebelluna. The plastic cup takes away from the drinking experience significantly. The Spritz itself felt very watery and lacked any sort of punch. The pizza was decent, but I've had better. The base was great, but the sauce tasted almost like jarred sauce? And it was quite liquidy.

The atmosphere was 10/10 and I'd heard really good things about this place, plus the prices are very decent. Shame the food and drink didn't match this.

Service...

We went here on our last night in Montebelluna, it was fantastic. The pizzas were fantastic they are very large though we ordered one each and couldn’t finish. Most are around the 10£ mark so very affordable. I did have the tiramisu for dessert as I have to order it when ever I see it and it was ok but now what I was expecting, it was mostly light cream and the biscuits instead of sponge fingers that was not soaked, but still...

MAI PIÙ ASSOLUTAMENTE.....  Servizio ai tavoli a dir poco imbarazzante...  hanno fatto accomodare me e mia moglie, portati i menù e da li in poi praticamente abbandonati a noi stessi, nonostante abbiamo chiamato più volte le cameriere (e poi anche il proprietario che passava tra i tavoli) non abbiamo neppure potuto ordinare, non è venuto a servirci nessuno mentre le cameriere si soffermavano su tavoli in cui c'erano sedute persone (probabilmente) "conosciute" per simpatiche chiacchiere, oppure al cellulare privato totalmente incuranti dei clienti ancora da servire... Il tutto svolto con il locale praticamente semivuoto, con 6 tavoli occupati, già tutti con consumazione effettuata (Non oso pensare il sabato sera quando la sala è piena come possa essere effettuato un servizio decente)...

Morale della favola dopo 20 minuti di attesa abbiamo preferito alzarci ed andare in un locale adiacente.....

Sinceramente persone così "distratte" NON DOVREBBERO ASSOLUTAMENTE OCCUPARSI DI RISTORAZIONE, è un insulto a tutti gli altri ristoratori che ogni giorno svolgono bene il loro compito assicurando ai commensali un ottimo pasto e servizio...

P.S.  La cucina non posso recensirla in quanto, come detto sopra, non abbiamo nemmeno avuto modo di ordinare....
