If you traveled through here and don’t eat here or stay at the B&B, you’re truly missing an experience.
We stayed here for one night. I wish all our stays were like here.
For the food: we tried the trout fillets. Found out the trout is fished 500 meters (1500 ft) from the restaurant. We tried the mountain garlic gnocchi. Fantastic garlic taste with almost zero smell in our breathe thereafter. We tried the fried olives and fried trout balls, as well as the soup and a small salad. We finished the meal with a tiramisu. We’ve tried tiramisu through Italy (maybe 30-40?) and this was easily one of the best.
The food tastes like it was all made at home, with love. Everything was on point and super fresh. It’s obvious they make properly sourced foods from raw ingredients. We ordered so much food we couldn’t finish it in one sitting so we just took our time until we finished our plates.
As for the rooms: Fantastic and newly renovated rooms that can challenge some of the best hotels. I travel for work - and top tier with both Hilton and IHG. The rooms were spotless, great facilities, really safe and quiet area, and everything else you could think of for a B&B in an Italian mountain village. We were super impressed with...
Read moreThis family-run B&B has two guest rooms. Ours was very nice: freshly renovated, clean, quiet and with a nice bathroom and with all amenities we could wish for. I particularly appreciated the espresso machine and the fridge. The narrow and rather steep staircase to this room could be a challenge for some. We got lots of help from the family in planning our hikes over two days, and we had a great time. Unfortunately the B&B’s restaurant was not open for dinner the two days we stayed here, so we missed an opportunity to dine there or just have glass of wine in the evening without having to get into the car. And our room had no balcony or terrace on which we could enjoy the evenings. But the breakfast we got (included in the price) was terrific: good coffee, fresh bread with delicious meats and cheeses, and jams, fresh fruit, yoghurt and home made cake! I had not eaten a bigger and...
