Ristorante Dolce e Forte — Restaurant in Montespertoli

I can’t say enough about this outstanding superb restaurant. Our friends who live locally highly recommended we all go there together. It was the highlight of our vacation! We were greeted with a warm welcome by this family run restaurant and the best service I have ever encountered in the business. The attention to detail and interaction was phenomenal. Everything we ordered from the appetizers to the famous Tuscan T-bone steak to the grand finale of truffles and lava cake desserts were all savored with each bite. We also really enjoyed the wild boar meat pasta. Every bite of each course set off fireworks on my taste buds! Each item we ordered was explained in detail down to what grass the beef was fed. The local wines were also thoroughly explained and were all excellent. The service was top notch. We were even given the honor of meeting the chef and his mother in the kitchen. To say this was the best meal of my life is an understatement. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. They hit it out...

Spectacular!

My wife and I stopped in while on vacation in Montespertoli in March of 2018. The restaurant is run by two brothers: one in the back cooking up amazing food, and one running the front end and selecting the wine. You can tell they are very passionate about what they do.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. He welcomed us and explained the restaurant/menu (there were two menus: one traditional and one modern). I ordered a glass of wine and it was fantastic; my wife doesn't usually like wine, but he brought one he thought she might like (on the house), and she did! :)

Everything we ordered was phenomenal both in taste and presentation, right down to the apple dessert their mother had cooked up that morning! They also gave us some dessert wine to go along with it for free! We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

If we are ever in Tuscany again, we will definitely be coming back. If you are in the area, do not miss this spot for dinner. You will not be...

Excellent restaurant that we found by chance while renting a villa nearby. We didn't have a reservation but the owner was able to fit us in before an upcoming dinner reservation. The food was amazing and the hospitality was excellent! We ended up returning to the restaurant two more times for dinner! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The owner had a dry spice blend that he made himself. Three of us were obsessed with it and begged to buy some from him. He said he was on his last supply of it for the season, but during our last visit he gave us a small bottle of it....
