The antipasto buffet was simply the best I encountered during my entire trip to Sicily, an exquisite assortment that was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Recensire con la massima onestà è quanto è necessario fare, soprattutto poiché un'esperienza personale non può essere assurta a verità. Mai stata in questa trattoria, oggi io e la mia amica Simo decidiamo di vederci a pranzo e per comodità scegliamo questo posto. Qui si mangia dalla carne al pesce e l'antipasto è a buffet. Prendiamo due antipasti a buffet di cui la parmigiana era buonissima. Ordiamo poi una bistecca alla palermitana con contorno di insalata di finocchio, un piatto di spaghetti e vongole la mia amica. Acqua e un calice di bianco. Sugli spaghetti arrivano i problemi, un guscio si sarà rotto durante la cottura e la mia amica comincia a sputacchiare frammenti! Chiamiamo il proprietario che dispiaciuto insiste a che il piatto venga sostituito, la mia amica ribatte che non è necessario, ma le porta un piatto di penne pesce spada e melanzane di cui mangia due forchettate. Chiudiamo con due caffè. Conto 58 €. Salato direi, noi abbiamo sbagliato perché non abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni, quindi ce ne assumiamo la responsabilità, lui come minimo per lo scivolone la pasta con le vongole doveva offrirla ed invece ho idea che di pasta ne abbiamo pagati due piatti!! Visiting Sicily for the first time. All the food here has been excellent, but the food and service at Il Ristorante Delgli Amichi are far and away the best of the trip. It is evident that the owner of 44 years, Mr. Bruno Agatino, has put his heart into this wonderful place.
