We simply love Paolo, his staff and place and also the region around muggia. We've been around the world to so many places but at Paolos we found a true jewel.

We felt like home like we belong to this place. It's one of the most relaxing, warm-hearted, delicious and respectful places ever.

You drink (wine, grappa) and eat (fruits, tomatoes) from Paolos garden. You can have dinner every evening with fresh, delicate seafood and wine as much as you can (around 50€-60€). Included breakfast is continental and coffee is good and you can have it in what time ever during the morning. It's not a hotel, it's home.

The rooms are quiet simple but still very clean with good mattresses and they have AC & heater.

If there's something you need, you don't like or you want, say it and you will get it.

We celebrated my friend's wedding anniversary at this hidden gem of a taverna and were truly impressed. Nestled in a peaceful olive grove, the setting is both unique and welcoming, instantly making us feel at home. The food was nothing short of exceptional—fresh, local ingredients prepared with obvious love and incredible skill. The variety of dishes, especially the fish, was outstanding. Each plate reflected a deep respect for tradition and a passion for cooking. What truly made the evening unforgettable, though, was the owner. His warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel like cherished guests. As the night came to a close, he shared stories that added a deeply personal touch to our experience. It's rare to find a place where everything—from the atmosphere to the food to the people—comes together so perfectly. Family-friendly, with plenty of free parking, this taverna is a place we’ll remember with joy and look forward to...

We spent four wonderful days at the taverna Cigui during our yoga retreat and were truly impressed. The food was exceptional – fresh, local, and prepared with love. The variety, especially the fish dishes, was amazing.

The taverna is set in a beautiful olive grove, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. We felt at home and enjoyed every moment.
