'a tiàna — Restaurant in Naples

Started great with a tray of delicious entrees. Then the cook dropped the genovese. I understand accidents happen, I don't understand how the plate that was made to substitute it was made with such carelessness when the same plate ordered first was a work of art, neither how the host just made us wait for the substitute plate while our friend was served and we looked. Almost 60€ for entrees for 3 people and two pasta plates and no drinks. How do you make a mistake and don't try to make up for it, at all? Unreasonable prices for Napoli, even for Vomero.

Edit 27/09 - regarding the drinks, we ordered a bottle of water. The entrees were delicious as previously agreed, but I notice you failed to mention or apologize for the terrible quality and the huge delay of the second zucchini pasta plate which was precisely my point. Everyone makes mistakes, but only a few act like it is nothing and don't care to fix it. 57€ for entrees for 3 people, a bottle of water and two zucchini pasta plates is reasonable?

One of us ended up not eating at all because of the failed genovese and how long it took for us to get another dish.

The problem wasn't the mistake, those happen. The problem was how you couldn't be bothered to apologize or try to find a solution. So no, it wasn't 19€ per person as you claimed, since one went hungry and only ate...

We don’t speak Italian but we were well taken care during our visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful in giving recommendations. They even tried to translate the menu for us which we appreciate very much. Food was fresh and delicious. We ordered a mussels spaghetti, potato pasta, fried squid, red wine and white wine for dinner. We arrived hungry but left with a full heart and belly because they are very generous not only with their food but also their service. Truly local and authentic experience we will never forget. We will miss ‘a tiàna very much when we are back in...
