Ricomincio da Tre — Restaurant in Naples

Got recommended this place by our BandB host who happened to turn up unconnected to get his take away pizza. Food was good and fresh, as good as any other I have had in Italy and Naples over the years. Seems to be two prices though, one for locals and the other is a "tourist tax" !!! We got charged an extra €8 euros approx. There was no one in the place and the atmosphere was their family and the telly which was fine but more annoyed about the extra charges which were in the English menu but not the Italian. Seems they are cashing in on non natives... Would not go back for that reason... Have not had this experience before in Naples so seems a specific thing. Two pizza one large beer and a desert was €29 pretty much UK prices would have expected it to be about half that....... But when they don't speak English and we don't speak strong Italian then bit of a hiding to nothing...

We had 2 pizzas a Marinara, 4 cheeses and white wine. Pizzas were ok, not real Napolitan pizzas but tasty either way, wine was ok as well given the price you can't ask for more. However the prices differ if you are a tourist/get the English menu or if you get the local/Italian menu. We were put on a corner where we couldn't see the menu that was printed on the wall, the menu we got was more expensive than the one on the wall. When paying I pointed that out and they told me the menu on the wall was for take-away, which was a lie given no one will take a jar of wine in take-away among other stuff that is on the menu and you don't pay the coperto (extra charge paid in Italy when eating o a restaurant that varies between 1€-3€) for take-away which was also listed on...

AUTHENTIC NAPOLITAN PIZZA. This pizza is something special!! The dough is very light, after the first pizza I could have eat another one without problems, the variety of fresh and typical toppings are the perfect match that complete this amazing soft and light dough. Excellent and friendly service, we've been served from Francesco who looked after us for all the time without let us missing anything. Prices are good too. You can seat inside or outside were you can admire the beautiful seafront of Margellina and the view of Castel Dell'Ovo.
