Ristorante La Torre — Restaurant in Nardò

Di recente ho avuto il piacere di visitare un ristorante che si è rivelato estremamente deludente. L'atmosfera era tutto tranne che piacevole, in quanto estremamente rumorosa, angusta e fredda, specialmente con il cattivo tempo di pioggia di quel giorno.

Oltre all'atmosfera scomoda, il servizio offerto nel ristorante era tutt'altro che soddisfacente. Quando abbiamo chiesto del formaggio per la nostra Pasta, ce lo hanno portato con un cucchiaio di plastica. Tuttavia, prima che ognuno potesse prendere un po' di formaggio, ce l'hanno subito tolto. Un comportamento estremamente strano che non metteva certo il servizio sotto una buona luce.

Abbiamo chiesto una forchetta aggiuntiva, ma il cameriere ci ha detto di passare una forchetta già utilizzata della mia posate. È stato assolutamente disgustoso e poco igienico. È incomprensibile come una cosa del genere possa essere tollerata in un ristorante.

Quando abbiamo chiesto un cappuccino, ci è stato detto che non avevano latte. Va bene, può capitare. Quindi abbiamo ordinato due espresso. Tuttavia, dopo cinque minuti ci è stato nuovamente detto che non era possibile perché non avevano del latte. Questa confusione su ciò che dovrebbe essere contenuto in un caffè espresso solleva forti dubbi sulla competenza del personale. Alla fine ci hanno dato il caffè, ma servito in un bicchiere di carta. Spumante in bicchiere di plastica. È deludente che in un ristorante che dovrebbe mantenere uno standard adeguato non siano stati utilizzati stoviglie adeguate.

Non solo le bevande, ma anche il cibo stesso non è riuscito a convincere. La qualità lasciava molto a desiderare e il piatto era ben lontano dall'essere un culmine culinario.

Tutto sommato, la mia visita in questo ristorante è stata estremamente sgradevole e deludente. L'ambiente rumoroso, angusto e freddo, il servizio scadente e il cibo al di sotto della media mi hanno spinto a scrivere questa recensione negativa. Consiglio agli altri clienti di non avere aspettative troppo elevate se intendono visitare...

I came here as the other reviews seemed very positive but I had a very different experience. None of the food we ordered was good. The octopus croquettes barely taste of octopus, the fried calamari was extremely chewy, the grilled shrimp was full of sand, the only decent part of the meal was the gratin mussels. This seaside terrace offers a truly beautiful setting, especially at sunset—you’re literally dining above the water. The food is very good, and the service is equally satisfying. On warm summer nights, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and some fresh seafood in a magical atmosphere.
