Wonderful restaurant! The hosts are lovely and put an incredible amount of care in serving great food from fresh ingredients cooked and paired to perfection. The cuisine is seasonal and a mix of Sicilian flavors with flavors from Emilia Romagna. Great attention to details - from serving children first, to helping to celebrate special occasions, and catering for special dietary needs with great care (for example I need to eat gluten free and I was able to enjoy a great variety of culinary delights, including multiple desserts, feeling very safe). A thoughtful selection of wines is available to accompany the meal. The location is spotless, modern, spacious, and with a very pleasant design. This restaurant is easily one of the absolute best I have tried throughout Sicily! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with open arms by the passionate family who bring this place to life. The food was magnificent! We were recommended to try the assorted antipasti which were phenomenal and provided us with just a taste for was what to come. We were then served with two large beef vitelli off the bone cooked in butter for 20 hours! This just melted in our mouths. If you're looking for approachable, elevated dining, L'Artista is a great place for you! It was our first trip to Sicily and we were tired after doing some research on our family history. Manuela and Giovanni welcomed us with open arms ... and WOW, what a lunch. Hand crafted tortellini in parmesan cream, beautiful fava beans sauteed and covered with crisp breadcrumbs, a special pumpkin filled ravioli in butter sauce so fresh ... a tasty, traditional mortadella mini sandwich and panne cotta with fresh strawberries.
