we ate there yesterday. it was "quite a chalange to feed us" as we are vegeterian, so we took the only two vegeterian dishes on the menue, the fried eggs, and risoto of the day. the name "fried egg" is both accurate and misleading, as this is a very sophisticated dish, were the chef manages to fry a whole egg which stays in its soft stage, but fully cooked. served with a heavenly brioch, trfulle shaves, paremesan shaves etc. what a treat. the risoto was also excellent. add to that excellent wine from their cellar, very special deserts, atentive and warm service, and the setting, and you get a "total package" - a restaurant worth a special journey if you are in Verona or...

Don't waste your time or money here. It was our worst dinner in Italy and by far the most expensive. Both servers we had were unhelpful and rude, plus the timing of our courses was awful. The prawns were overly fried and almost black. Flavor wise, the truffle risotto was ok but it needed more time to cook, it was beyond al dente.
