Hands down one of the best dining experiences and best hospitality Italy has to offer. Called on the ferry over and made a reservation, we landed at 6.15pm and restaurant opens at 7.30pm The chap helping with the gangplank clocks us and he's also the restaurant owners, he guides us to their private garden over looking lake COMO, 3 mins later he's brought a bottle of prosecco down with two glasses to keep us going until the restaurant opens. 10 mins before opening we wander up to the restaurant and he comes out with the keys for the 14th century church opposite and tells us to go take a look ALL THIS before the meal has started which moving onto the food was exceptional, the local ingredients and simplicity of the menu combined with the hospitality and charm of the owner made this an unforgettable experience whilst on...

The owner and staff are very sweet and friendly. The restaurant is in a cute spot next to Nesso ferry station. Maybe it was my mistake and misinterpretation about the food but for me it was expensive for the quality of the dishes, 40€/person. It serve the local dried fish and small pieces and fried fish. The local dessert didn't click with my taste either. We weren't served the local cheese platter, which we decided not to ask for but to pay and leave. Had one of the best meals we've had here in Italy! Very authentic Italian meal using fresh fish from the lake. From the wine to dessert it was all delicious! The service was phenomenal, extremely friendly & professional. Definitely the best service we've had in Italy. The setting is also beautiful with a view over the lake.
