D&D Ristorante Friggitoria Gourmet — Restaurant in Noicattaro

This was really disappointing and poor value for money. The place was empty for most of our dinner. The owner was grumpy from the start and spent most of our dinner on his laptop in the dining room- the atmosphere was weird at best.

The food had a couple of technically good elements (they had a good, light batter recipe - which you would expect of a Friggitoria), but in general everything lacked seasoning and flavour (even the tomatoes were bland, and this is Puglia- the capital of great tomatoes). The panzerotti were small compared to most other Puglia restaurants, and the tagliata (steak) was literally a couple of millimetres thick and so overcooked AND came out cold.

Ho cenato sabato sera in questo ristorante e lo consiglio vivamente. Ho apprezzato moltissimo la cucina,ricercata in ogni dettaglio,dagli ingredienti,molti dei quali tipici della nostra tradizione,alla presentazione dei piatti,estremamente curata. Suggestivo l'accostamento degli ingredienti, variegato il menù, idoneo a soddisfare gusti e richieste diverse, prodotti di stagione, ampia scelta di vini e atmosfera decisamente accogliente. Ho trovato il locale arredato con molto gusto,uno stile moderno e raffinato. Il signor Cesare,poi, è un ottimo padrone di casa, sempre disponibile ad accogliere le richieste dei suoi ospiti e a dare consigli preziosi sulla scelta dei piatti.
