Unfortunately, we arrived too early for dinner. So, we ordered some Panini and beer. The draught beer was very good, and although the Panini took some minutes they were especially fresh and well made and worth the wait.

The service is very kind and welcoming and speaks good English. The place itself is absolutely clean, new and very cozy. We were sitting outside on the terrace and the occassional passing by traffic was no issue. After all, you can hardly miss the place as it lies right at the only street along the valley.

We paid about 23€ for 3 Panini, two draught beer and a cola.

So, should you find yourself hungry before 19:00 it's a great place to get a snack too. And I'm sure the lunch and dinner will...

We couldnt order pizza because we were there for lunch. We ordered two "primi plati" and they were brought to us with 10-15 minutes difference, meaning when my partner received his I was almost done. I ate my dish half cold and had to stare at my partner while he ate his.

This happened to at least 2 other tables while we were there.

The rest was great! Especially the bread, home-made and super tasty. And food itself was good too, the issue was...

Sabato sera ho cenato presso la Trattoria 'La Capanna' con mio figlio di 22 mesi ed altri miei famigliari... Nulla da dire sulla qualità del cibo, però vorrei far notare che forse NON é un ambiante adatto a persone che decidono di trascorrere del tempo in questo luogo se si hanno dei bambini piccini... Durante tutta la serata mio figlio di 22 mesi é stato un Tesoro, nonostante tutto ad un certo punto una cameriera infastidita, che si trovava nella saletta di sotto, si é avvicinata al mio tavolo ed a bassa voce mi ha fatto notare che era vietato giocare con una tovaglietta rigida che il locale mette a disposizione a ciascun cliente . Premetto che mio figlio aveva semplicemente alzato la tovaglietta giocando a fare cucu con la sottoscritta. Sono rimasta basita dall'atteggiamento della cameriera!!! Ho dovuto chiederle per due volte cosa mi stesse dicendo perché non riuscivo a credere a quello che stavo sentendo, ed anche i miei famigliari sono rimasti molto sorpresi e basiti da questo spiacevole episodio. Mi fossi trovata da sola mi sarei alzata dal tavolo e me ne sarei andata immediatamente! Mio figlio ripeto di 22 MESi non stava ne urlando ne buttando nulla a terra, in poche parole non stava dando fastidio...
