Il Buongustaio — Restaurant in Orosei

F A N T A S T I C!!! It was so great having had dinner there! Family restaurant with the soul. You feel invited as a valuable family member. Served by the owner, reserved, but warm senior. His wife manages the kitchen, popping up from time to time to grant guests with her smile and check the atmosphere. Fast service, no indefinite waiting as at neibourgh places. As for the taste - just delicious. We ordered "arosticini di pecora" as a main dish and "sevadas " for desert (with local honey). It's impossible to cook better. So, it is highly recommended if you look for the mild evening and great souvenirs. It is not expensive and...

Terrible!

As we asked for a table, the bartender made clear that he refused to speak a word in any other language than Italian.

1 and a half hours after, another bartender noticed us, and came back with a bread basquet and oil. Oil was presented in an open glass flask with no lid... and it was fairly rancid too.

2 hours after, a bartender brought one of the salads we had ordered.

2 hours and a half later we received the rest of the food.

Staff did not seem surprised about the almost 3 hours that we were waiting for the food and we did not receive an explanation/apology...

Great food came here everyday for lunch and dinner the owners of this resturant are so kind and lovely. The only thing we didnt really like was the cheese soup but its not that it wasnt fresh but because it is very different to what i normaly eat but overall a 10 out of 10 delicious food. Lots of space to sit a cute little dog and worth the wait even though we were not there at busy times. Everything is nice and fresh. At the beggining of our holiday we couldnt find a place to eat and when we found this resturant we decided to not go anywhere else because the food was...
