Was really excited to come here as the reviews on TripAdvisor were so good. I've ordered from English menu and it clearly said thin pasta Tagliatelle with Salmon. I've received penne and when I questioned it with the waitress she couldn't understand a word I was saying, she then turned to an older woman with glasses who I assume was the manager and instead of good customer service I got a shrug of the shoulders and rude response saying that what I have ordered is penne in Italian not Tagliatelle, the English menu is apparently a wrong translation ... The only reason I've ordered this meal was that I was expecting fresh pasta not penne ( dry pasta ) if I have known it will be penne I wouldn't order it. No solution offered , I didn't want to create a scene ans I was really shocked with the response. I wouldn't go back there in million years ! My husband had pasta with sea bass which was ok but certainly...
Read more0/10 – Absolutely terrible experience, never again! We spent almost 200 euros here and it was a complete waste of money. The food was disgusting — seafood was not even cleaned properly (the squid still had the ink sac and even the plastic cartilage inside 🤢). The fish and prawns were served carelessly, with no flavor and poor quality.
On top of that, the lady owner was extremely rude and arrogant, making the whole experience uncomfortable. We came expecting fresh Sardinian seafood, but what we got was inedible, badly prepared dishes and disrespectful service.
I have eaten seafood all over Sardinia and Italy, and this was by far the worst meal I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs — there are many other restaurants in Orosei that respect their customers and actually serve good food.
Never again, and I would never recommend this...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience. (we are 2people but we ordered 3dishes), We came expecting a relaxed à la carte experience, but were pressured into ordering multiple dishes per person — essentially forced into a course-style meal, despite the restaurant only offering à la carte pricing and portions. If the restaurant wants to run a course-style format, it would be far more honest and professional to offer an actual tasting menu or fixed course option, rather than upselling under pressure. They justified this by saying “cultures are different,” which felt dismissive and condescending. Ironically, in all our time in Italy, we’ve never once been criticized for sharing dishes — until this place.
This is not the Italy I know and love. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine or respectful...
