FraGranze Pizzeria — Restaurant in Orsogna

We have been going to Italy for many years, but this was our first time in Abruzzo. We visited a super gourmet pizzeria in Orsona. I can say that I have eaten all kinds of pizzas, but FraGrance pizzeria is something special. Really excellent pizza, made from quality dough and ingredients. In my opinion, very unconventional ingredients (goat cheese, salami, pear, figs, etc.), but still excellent. Very good prices. We didn't have a table reserved, but the owner welcomed us very warmly and seated us at the table. Very nice and pleasant girl who served us. We felt very comfortable here and it is clear that the customer comes first here. Respect! They also have excellent desserts - amazing creme brulee and tiramisu. I can recommend it to everyone. Le recensioni lette e i feedback estremamente positivi ricevuti su questo locale mi avevano incuriosito da tempo e, pertanto, mi ero ripromessa di provare il prima possibile la famosa pizza delle "fragranze". Ebbene... In una serata piovosa e freddina di questo anomalo giugno abbiamo prenotato per la serata. Appena accompagnati al tavolo la gentile cameriera ha iniziato a spiegarci le pizze ordinabili e quelle non presenti per mancanza degli ingredienti di stagione e ci ha elencato le pizze gourmet. Io ho ordinato una pizza con ventricina e mio marito una focaccia gourmet (con angus, salsa, rucola e pachino). Sebbene le pizze fossero estremamente farcite sono risultate digeribilissime, con una base molto leggera e molto gustose al tempo stesso. Ops... Dimenticavo.. Ci è stato offerto un piccolo entree di benvenuto davvero buono a base di crema di ceci. Infine, abbiamo gustato un delizioso tiramisù, preparato al momento, come visto con i nostri occhi al momento del pagamento. Il prezzo è stato onestissimo. Tirando le somme devo dire che le recensioni lette erano davvero veritiere. Torneremo sicuramente....

Great pizza's with lots of variations. They have made their own variations next to the standard ones. Enough veggie options as well. The owner really does his best to make you feel comfortable. We got a prosecco on arrival and a small appetizer, which tasted great as well.
