Don’t judge a book by its cover! We were looking for a location between the Adriatic and the Miella. A friend who has roots in the area recommended it. The people who own and work here are so friendly and accommodating. Veronica who speaks English went above and beyond to make our 5 day stay memorable! We were surprised at the dinner service- really good local wines and delicious first and second plates. Daily breakfast until 9:30. Loved the coffee machine- able to make caffe any way you want. Favorites on the buffet were fresh scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, cornetti, and an apple cake. Capitiamo in questo hotel per riposare una notte a metà del viaggio di ritorno. Nonostante avessimo visionato il costo online della stanza, per effettuare la prenotazione decidiamo di chiamare direttamente la struttura per far prima , al telefono ci viene comunicato un costo maggiorato di 10€. Un po' stupiti chiediamo come mai questa disparità, riceviamo come risposta "vabbè possiamo farla anche a quel prezzo" per poi consigliarci di prenotare sul loro sito perché forse la pagheremmo di meno. Perplessi sulla discordanza delle risposte ricevute, prenotiamo effettivamente sul loro sito ad un prezzo più vantaggioso. Riusciamo ad arrivare in hotel per le 01.30 di notte, stanchi morti, saliamo in camera per una doccia che ci faccia riprendere un po', ebbene: NIENTE acqua corrente. Il comune ha chiuso l'acqua a mezzanotte e la loro riserva è terminata. Terminata. Allora, ammesso che un disservizio ci possa anche stare, non è ammissibile che alla reception NESSUNO ci abbia avvisato e che prima ancora nessuno abbia chiamato prima del nostro arrivo per comunicarci la cosa nonostante ci abbiano fatto prenotare online e fatto inserire il nostro recapito telefonico. Sorvolando ancora sulle condizioni del bagno sicuramente datato benché pulito, al mattino riusciamo a farci una doccia ed a scendere per la colazione (la struttura è sprovvista di ascensore). Ad attenderci nella sala adibita per le colazioni ci accoglie un secchio d'acqua posto per raccogliere l'acqua che gocciolava dal soffitto. Al momento del check-out un po' infastiditi chiediamo una giusta revisione del prezzo iniziale affatto corrispondente al servizio di un hotel 3 stelle. La signora al desk è stata profondamente ineducata proponendoci uno sconto irrisorio, quasi sbeffeggiandoci per la richiesta avanzata ,accusandoci di non voler pagare affatto il pernotto. Interviene anche il titolare, forse il marito,e ci applica un ulteriore sconto continuando con un atteggiamento strafottente. Peccato, perché la zona intorno merita parecchio e davvero con poche ma sane accortezze ed un tantino di garbo in più e di approssimazione in meno, potrebbero sicuramente renderla più attrattiva.
