Lido Bosco Verde — Restaurant in Ostuni

I booked 6 beds online for myself & my family to spend the day at the beach & in Bosco Verde, the reason why I booked here is because I saw they also have a playground which I thought would be great for my son. We arrived in the morning and upon entry we saw no staff, and no patrons. We walked down to the beach to find that the beach was closed because the tide was in, now I know that’s no fault of the venues but there was absolutely no mention of a beach closure anywhere! We spoke to a staff member and explained that we couldn’t come back another day as we were travelling elsewhere, so the staff member said I would receive a full refund for the beds, (over 100€!). After waiting a few days for the money to deposit, I received no refund, I sent the venue an email which was ignored. A few more days past, still no refund and I emailed again which again, was ignored. I have still received no refund and no one has replied to my email. Very poor customer service here, will not...

Ci siamo recati in questo luogo su consiglio di una persona che lavora in una struttura della stessa proprietà di questo camping, nella quale abbiamo soggiornato splendidamente 9 giorni senza aver mai avuto un solo problema per cui ci siamo fidati cecamente pensando : se è questa la gestione, siamo a cavallo! Arrivati sul posto, ci vengono chiesti i primi 6 euro di parcheggio. Ci fanno parcheggiare lontano nonostante avessimo un bambino ed il parcheggio fosse completamente VUOTO. Poco male. Essendoci una giornata ventosa, decidiamo di non sistemarci in spiaggia ma all'interno. Non ci viene nessuno incontro e se non fossimo andati a chiedere al bar come fare per sistemarci probabilmente avremmo aspettato per ore. Altri 24 euro per avere 2 lettini ( alla prima folata me lo sono ritrovata a 6km/h sul viso, perchè rotto) ed un ombrellone. Chiediamo al bar se fosse possibile fare le docce data l'impossibilità di andare al mare per il forte vento e ci indicano quella salmastra. Ottimo, vado per usarla e mi ritrovo il rubinetto in mano! Mio marito và per chiedere e "scendendo dalle nuvole" , come se non sapessero nulla,(ovviamente lo sapevano, a meno che il ragazzetto con gli occhi chiari del bar non fosse stato assunto quel giorno stesso) ci propongono una doccia a pagamento FREDDA nella zona dei bagni. Ovviamente non l'abbiamo utilizzata. Tra l'altro, quando abbiamo pagato al bar l'ingresso, abbiamo anche detto che eravamo ospiti del residence di loro stessa proprietà ci hanno guardati come per dire... e quindi????? In tutto il lido non c'è acqua calda, volevamo sciacquare il bimbo di 2 anni e l'unico mezzo sarebbe stato quello di riempire una bottiglia d'acqua con l'acqua calda prodotta dalla macchinetta del caffè...ma tutto apposto? Abbiamo preso una puccia che all'interno conteneva UNA e ripeto UNA sola fetta di Capocollo di Martina Franca e UNA sola fetta di provola. 5 euro. Il tutto servito con una lentezza e con voglia di lavorare e di cortesia pari a zero. Bagni sporchi e puzzolenti e dulcis in fundo IMPOSSIBILE RIPOSARE. Nemmeno nelle ore in cui di solito si abbassa il volume, niente. Volume a palla come se fossimo in un locale alle 23. Non era musica dance ma ad un certo tono da fastidio anche Mozart. Insomma, mi dispiace dirlo ma pessima esperienza. Se non fosse che il posto è bello... ma curatelo e non solo a luglio ed agosto... perchè sono soldini anche quelli che vi portano a Settembre. E... sorridete, siate cordiali... perchè molte mancanze a volte si sopperiscono con...

The beach area here is not the best- very small and narrow and they really pack the beds in tight. Pruces are a reasonable 15euro for 2 beds and umbrella, plus 5 for parking. The water directly in front of the area is nice but it has some chunky rock bed throughout, although this lessens with a short walk further down the beach where the water was really beautiful so overall i give the beach experience is a 3/5. The food and service here was good and id give that a 4/5. Super nice staff, english speaking and a really good food menu that isnt JUST the italian basics which can be a bit lazily delivered at times in other beach clubs.
