While it wasn't a terrible dinner, it certainly wasn't memorable either.

First, the food was a letdown. The dishes lacked flavor, with an overall blandness. The parma smoked ham and buffala tasted disappointingly similar to the ones you can find at your local supermarket. One dish that particularly stood out for all the wrong reasons was the shrimp pasta. Not only was it tasteless, but the shrimp itself was undercooked and unpleasantly raw. When asked for parmesan to try to add flavour, the server told us that the sauce itself had parmesan, so no need. A shame that the sauce tasted more like fridge than cheese. 😅The Diavolo pizza was decent, offering some respite with its acceptable taste.

Regarding the ambiance, the restaurant failed to impress. The setting didn't match the pictures advertised, and it was much more messy than shown on the photos, a bit weird since its high season. The backyard area where we were seated lacked any discernible decoration or charm. The mismatched plastic chairs added to the overall lackluster atmosphere, creating an unappealing visual aesthetic. It felt like little effort was made to create an inviting and cozy environment for diners.

On a positive note, the price range at Mediterraneo falls within the normal range and you can get a discount with The Fork, which is a relief considering the underwhelming experience we had. However, the lackluster food, undercooked shrimp, and uninspiring atmosphere still make it difficult to wholeheartedly recommend...

We stumbled upon this restaurant and it is a hidden gem!! We were greeted so graciously by Princhipio. He guided us with the menu selection that was remarkable. He suggested the scorpion fish which was first prepared with spaghetti, then we watched them remove the extra delicious fish from the bone. Then we had the filet that was grilled for us after! Truly delicious. The other wait staff were Francesco (Chicco) and Monica. Both were amazing. Chicco danced around, laughed and talked with us. Monica was sweet and attentive. Everyone was friendly and you could tell they loved their jobs. It was a lovely evening. Perfecto!! We decided to go back the next night and try their pizza. It did not disappoint. Again, amazing. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Thank you all for 2 wonderful evenings. We will treasure our visit here. Good luck...

We had to wait a long time to get the menus. Then everything has been so slow. The quality of the food was very disappointing. This is most expensive and the lowest quality place we had been around here. We complained that we had to wait a very long time however we have been the quickest to get our plates.
