Locanda Manfredi — Restaurant in Paciano

This was one of my favorite dining experiences of my summer. The food is high-quality and you can taste the love that's put into every bite. There was a beautiful view and ambience with a very clean and cozy patio accessible bathroom. The house wine arrived in a terracotta carafe and was very tasty. The pâté I had to start was plentiful, savoury, and gentle in flavour. We found the prices incredibly reasonable considering the quality and the stunning views. After dinner the chef came to check on us and I told her I was an Ed Sheeran fan and she took me to the rooftop terrace where he had organized an engagement meal with his wife and family. I have to say that this family really cares for their clients and that in itself is a novel experience. HIGHLY recommend and will 100% be back with my Canadian...

Premetto che la location è carina e che quello che ho mangiato mi è piaciuto , ma...... Siamo arrivati alle 8.30 ca in questo locale consigliatomi da un amico. Eravamo io e mia moglie. Dopo circa 10 minuti è arrivato il cameriere a prendere la comanda: abbiamo ordinato un crostino di mozzarella di bufala ed una ricotta con pere e miele come antipasto. Abbiamo poi ordinato una tagliata ed uno spezzatino di chianina. Da bere acqua , mezzo litro di vino della casa e una birra. C'è stato un momento di panico con dei calabroni che avevano invaso alcuni gazebi, ma l'intervento del titolare è stato risolutivo. Quindi verso le 21.00 avevamo mangiato gli antipasti. Intanto arrivava altra gente che veniva servita, ma quando ho visto che persone arrivate dopo di noi stavano mangiando i primi e soprattutto che erano le 22.00 e nessuno ci filava, ho cercato di attirare l'attenzione dei camerieri : dopo alcuni tentativi ( passando inizialmente da un dito alzato fino ad arrivare alla classica sbracciata) riesco a sollecitare, in maniera garbata, il nostro ordine . Passano 5 minuti e si presenta la Chef con i nostri piatti scusandosi ( in maniera irritata) per il ritardo ma redarguendoci in quanto, secondo lei , non ci saremmo dovuti lamentare perché era solo un'ora e mezzo che eravamo arrivati e che doveva prima far mangiare a tutti almeno un piatto e che aveva la cucina piccola e non poteva servire più di tavolo contemporaneamente. Metto 2 stelle nella valutazione perché lo sfogo della Chef non è stato per nulla professionale, come è stato poco professionale il servizio in generale durante tutta la serata. Ovviamente mangiato quanto ordinato abbiamo chiesto il conto perché avevamo paura dei tempi d'attesa nel caso in cui avessimo chiesto un dolce ed un caffè ( che abbiamo comunque preso in un altro locale) . In cassa abbiamo fatto presente della disavventura al titolare, ma ha tirato fuori anche lui la storia della cucina piccola......peccato!! Comunque il paese di Paciano è molto carino,...

The owner came out with a bowl of fresh porcinis that had been foraged that day and offered us a few specials taking advantage of the amazing fresh fungi.

I had a great local beer, a delicious pâte, and umbricella with fresh porcinis. It was the best meal of my trip.

Would highly recommend going out of your way to get dinner here. There are also some excellent hiking trails up in the hills above paciano. This is a great spot to grab food after a long hike.
