I Cantoni - Braceria della Franciacorta — Restaurant in Passirano

My family and I had just arrived in the fantastic Franciacorta wine region and were looking for a restaurant for our dinner. We stumbled into the “I Cantoni.” The place is easy to reach and offers a comfortable parking space. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy so that we couldn’t eat outside. The silver lining was a pleasant temperature for the kids to play in the garden. The staff welcomed us and supported all the needs a family with two kids can have, such as a high chair, a quick tomato sauce pasta, extraordinarily delicious food, etc.

My wife and I were invited to taste the meat from the BBQ, and it was an excellent suggestion. The variety and quality of it made our mouths water. Pasta, the yummy polenta, and the perfect baked potatoes did the magic. Of course, everything was supported by a Franciacorta brut that gave the supper a boost.

The bill was not cheap, but I felt it was in line with the price of the area.

Siamo stati alla Braceria I Cantoni e ne siamo usciti più che soddisfatti. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto e una grigliata: tutto davvero eccellente. La carne è di qualità superiore, cucinata alla perfezione, con un gusto che esalta la bontà della materia prima. Anche il vino, scelto tra un'ottima selezione, ha accompagnato splendidamente il pasto.

L’ambiente è piccolo ma accogliente, curato nei dettagli e molto gradevole, perfetto per una serata tranquilla. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: cortese, simpatico e sempre attento senza mai essere invadente.

Locale a cui arrivo grazie a google maps quindi assolutamente per caso. Bellissimo l’ingresso con parcheggio nella pineta, mi aspettavo quindi qualcosa di molto più rustico e caratteristico ed invece ho trovato appena entrato un’atmosfera un po’ troppo moderna e fredda che proprio non mi aspettavo e che francamente non è di mio gusto. La cucina però è stata senza dubbio di qualità, il risotto davvero eccellente e anche la tagliata di puledro non è stata da meno. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, il cameriere che ci ha servito è stato simpatico e professionale. Ci ritorneremo per provare...
