Quite disappointing

The place is very nice, facing the sea and well cured. The staff is good and available. There are some disappointing things though. For being a fish restaurant, the fish in general doesn’t have an outstanding taste at all. We were 2 people. We ate soutè of muscles, paccheri with tomatoe sauce and catch of the day, and we shared a snapper fish made in the oven, so 3 dishes plus 2 desserts and 1 liter of “vino della casa”. Muscles were tasteless , as well as both the fish in the paccheri and the snapper fish. We paid more than 80 euros. Considering that the wine was the cheapest choice (although good) the price is really high and it is because we paid 35 euros for the snapper fish ( a single dish) which was supposed to be 700 grams, but once cleaned by a kind waiter it became maybe half of the weight. For the same amount of food it is possible to find cheaper and better options in the area. So this choice is...

I usually don’t like writing negative reviews, but I feel compelled to save people’s money, stomachs, and time. We had heard so much about Mimi, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, after tasting several dishes, I must say the quality was very low compared to other restaurants.

The view is beautiful, but serving frozen fish at these prices is unacceptable. The service was extremely slow, with only one girl handling the entire restaurant. The wine was mediocre. We were very disappointed. Even our local friends, who initially recommended the place, couldn’t finish their plates, they said it used to be very good, but this year, something clearly went wrong.

L esperienza purtroppo non è stata delle migliori.. dopo averci fatto accomodare al tavolo prenotato.. notiamo da subito che alle nostre spalle c era una grande tavolata di persone del posto alle quali veniva offerto un servizio di rigurano rispetto agli altri.. Da noi viene un cameriere che dapprima ci convince ad ordinare tutto in un unica comanda.. quindi antipasti primi e secondi tutti insieme.. cerca di convincerci ad ordinare l antipasto misto mentre avremmo preferIto dell altro.. ma troviamo un compromesso chiedendo degli antipasti misti (che probabilmente avevano gia pronti vista la velocita con cui ci arrivano) aggiungendo delle insalate di mare, patatine ed una frittura di mare mista (che era la pietanza principale che tutti al tavolo desideravamo) sempre insieme all antipasto.. finiamo gli antipasti misti.. arrivano perfino i primi ma della frittura e delle patatine nemmeno l ombra.. chiediamo a che punto fosse la preparazione della frittura e dopo averci rassicurati che sarebbero arrivate a momenti purtroppo l attesa è stata vana.. quindi vista l'ora tarda e stanchi dell attesa chiediamo il conto.. e notiamo che ci avevano inserito fritture e patatine (che avevamo chiesto assieme all antipasto) ma che non sono mai arrivate.. facciamo notare il tutto e la signora a cui avevamo chiesto prima e che ci aveva rassicurato che i camerieri avrebbero portato tutto, ci rispomde quasi come se nn credesse al fatto che nn ci fossero arrivate le fritture e a malincuore ci decurta una cifra "forfettaria" dal conto Ma che nn era pari al costo delle fritture che noi non aveva mangiato perché mai arrivate.. lo facciamo notare ma anziche scusarsi del disservizio e del conto errato quasi scocciata toglie dal conto il costo delle fritture.. ci siamo rimasti davvero male per il trattamento.. il cibo nn era male e il posto all inizio ci sembrava carino.. ma il servizio è stato pessimo e ha rovinato l intera cena.. sono cose che non dovrebbero accadere in posti che cmq hanno anni di esperienza come questo.
