Bar del Moro — Restaurant in Patù

We were with a group of ten so a waiter said we could put some tables together. After 30 minutes a waitress finally came to help us and told us to put the tables back in place so we had to move to a different table. However, this is not the reason why I'm giving this restaurant two stars. The service was fine and the waiters were friendly, but when it comes to the food, our experience was not that good. The food came quite fast which was nice and the starters were fine. Our mains however, weren't so tasty. The fried fish had a strange taste which was really gross. The linguine pasta with seafood was average. After we had our desert, we received some limoncello on the house, which I thought was a nice gesture. I wouldn't recommend other people to eat here, however the view and the sunset...

Bar di Moro in San Gregorio is truly special! The owner, Signore Moro, and his son Michele, who tends the bar, created an incredibly welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like family right away.

We had a beautiful sunset view one evening, and it was so wonderful that we returned to celebrate a birthday with some new friends we met at the bar. The food is outstanding—we were lucky enough to try nearly everything on the menu during the party.

The Bar del Moro offers a fantastic Antipasto solo mare with plenty of fresh seafood prepared in many different ways.Their seafood pasta is one of the greatest we've had in Salento. For the main dish, just go for the fresh fish of the day. I was lucky enough to have some grilled Mediterranean bass freshly fished in the morning.
