Il Cormorano — Restaurant in Pettenasco

We went there by kayak, suggested by the guy who rented us the kayak. It was an outing of our company. The food were pretty good too. We had a great time when we had lunch. The waiters were nice too despite that we stayed late.

After lunch (which we paid also not little amount since were 11 people) then we wanted to lay down on the green space where we parked our kayak. Nothing was written that it was private property or sort of. We stayed there for a while just for resting a bit before going again with the kayak. Then one of the staff came to us and kicked us out of the space with such a bad manner. Without any like "excuse me..." first or something like that. Just simply said "it's fine you ate at our restaurant, it's fine you parked the kayak, but it's not a lido"... we were one their clients for god's sake! And after we told them that he could've told us in a better way not that rude, he started to be agitated and defensive. Anyway after reading some of the reviews, I think hospitality is not their strength and seems that they are "good" and "polite" only to...

Buongiorno Sig.ra, Ieri ero presente nel esatto momento in cui sua figlia è entrata nel locale, noi purtroppo non offriamo servizi di tavola calda o paninoteca, e non nei confronti di sua figlia ma di chiunque. Inoltre quanto detto sul fatto del commento del ragazzo è improprio e sbagliato, in quanto parlando con me aveva semplicemente detto che si era “offeso” per il semplice fatto che quando sua figlia ha chiesto la chiave del bagno usando la parola “Toilette”, ed essendo frequente che venga chiesta in quella fascia oraria, il ragazzo si era semplicemente girato per controllare se la chiave fosse al posto per poterla dare, e sua figlia erroneamente e sicuramente in buona fede, lo aveva riguardato dicendogli “La chiave del bagno”, pensando che lui non avesse capito. Il ragazzo in questione, quando sua figlia è tornata indietro per chiedere una mano nell’aprire la porta del bagno, è andato ad aiutarla nonostante non rientri nelle sue mansioni e non riuscendo nemmeno lui, ha chiesto a me sua responsabile, se poteva fare andare sua figlia nel bagno interno riservato al ristorante o a persone che per motivi fisici non possono usufruire del servizio esterno, quali donne in gravidanza o persone disabili, sapendo che saremmo incorsi probabilmente ad un possibile (in quanto non avvenuto spiegando la situazione) rimprovero da parte del nostro titolare, e subito ha indicato a sua figlia dove si trovasse questo altro servizio, scusandosi per l’inconveniente della porta esterna. Nessun commento è stato fatto sul colore della pelle di sua figlia ne tanto meno si è tenuto qualsivoglia tipo di atteggiamento razzista nei suoi confronti. A riguardo la invito se mai a venire di persona per chiarire il fatto piuttosto che sentenziare pubblicamente su Internet, perché quanto da lei asserito è diffamatorio nei confronti del locale oltre che molto offensivo per i lavoratori che si fanno un mazzo per soddisfare ogni richiesta dei clienti e tante volte non vengono ringraziati ma anzi vengono presi in giro e trattati come “stupidi”.

Noi saremmo lieti di ospitarvi di nuovo e offrirvi il nostro miglior servizio come sempre. Buona...

Apalling service...all "form over function". It looks like a nice place, different wines on display, nicely spaced tables. When you are seated the horrors begin. I was eating on my own...I ordered 2 courses and a salad...it took an hour for the starter to arrive! I mean an hour for a tomato and mozzarella salad...and it wasn't that good when it did arrive;...the sea bass as a main was a lot better. The wine only came as White, red or rose in pitchers. I tried the white and red, both were the cheapest Italian wine possible 😞 The meal cost me over fifty euros...a complete rip off of the highest order. I ate far better food in Cuneo and Mandello over the past 2 days for under half...
