Antico Bagno Nettuno — Restaurant in Piano di Sorrento

We were a little hesitant coming in for dinner, as the place was empty. We were very pleasantly surprised. We were here for a late dinner and service was amazing. Food was really great, We had some complimentary appetizers, not sure how many of them are normally served. The waiter was great, and wasn't pushing (unlike most places around). We had seafood, pizza, risotto, and ravioli. All were freshly made and tasted great. Tiramisu dessert was worth...

I can't even remember how many courses we had, but I remember the freshest buffalo mozzarella cheese, most perfectly ripe fruit, juiciest and most flavorful steak and fish and a tiramisu to kill for.

Highly recommend dining here and please tell him hello from Michael and Alexa. When we first met with him to plan the dinner, he told us that he would take us under his wing and he absolutely followed through with his word.

Vergognosi Mai più, giornata di inizio settembre calda e (fortunatamente) poco ventilata. Arriviamo verso le 12:30 che il pochissimo vento già c’era, paghiamo 2 lettini e un ombrellone 30€. Nemmeno il tempo di fare un bagno e ritroviamo l’ombrellone chiuso, ci rivolgiamo al bagnino che ci dice che per il forte vento è stato chiuso (non esistente). Passano 2 ore, il vento che già all’inizio non era tale da chiudere gli ombrelloni si ferma del tutto, così chiediamo nuovamente ,questa volta al proprietario ,di riaprire l’ombrellone dato il caldo. Quest’ultimo ci dice che gli ombrelloni resteranno chiusi sempre a causa del vento poiché anche se era calmo “potevano” arrivare improvvisamente delle raffiche forti. Morale? Abbiamo pagato per un servizio di cui ci hanno privato senza una giusta causa, appellandosi ad una normativa che esiste ma sicuramente non era questo il caso di applicarla. D’altronde prima si appellano alla normativa ma poi non la seguono nemmeno alla lettera dato che essa prevede che in caso di “forte vento” è obbligatorio esibire la bandiera gialla per la sicurezza dei bagnanti che ovviamente non era presente.
