Tucked away along the winding, picturesque roads of the Amalfi Coast lies a true hidden treasure — a charming restaurant and pizzeria that captures the very essence of Italian hospitality and cuisine. From the moment you step into this delightful establishment, you’re enveloped by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels more like visiting family than dining out.
At the heart of this magical place are Gianni and Valeria, the soul of the restaurant. Gianni, the owner and pizzaiolo, is a master of his craft. With decades of experience and an infectious smile, he prepares each pizza with loving care, using only the finest, freshest ingredients — many sourced locally from the surrounding hills and sea. His dough is light, perfectly leavened, and baked to perfection in a traditional wood-fired oven. The result is nothing short of extraordinary: pizzas that are both rustic and refined, bursting with flavor, and impossible to forget.
Valeria, his wife, brings her own special magic to the experience. She greets each guest as if they were old friends, offering genuine warmth, humor, and kindness. Her attention to detail is evident in every part of the service, from thoughtful wine pairings to helpful suggestions and a gracious smile that never fades. Together, Gianni and Valeria form a duo that makes every meal not just enjoyable, but truly memorable.
The menu, though rooted in tradition, surprises with subtle creative touches that reflect the couple’s passion for quality and authenticity. Whether it’s a fragrant plate of handmade pasta with lemon zest from nearby groves, or a perfectly grilled seafood dish caught fresh that morning, every bite speaks of love and care. And of course, the pizza — oh, the pizza! It is, quite simply, a masterpiece.
What makes this place even more special is its unbeatable value. In a region often associated with luxury tourism and high prices, this restaurant stands out for its honest, fair pricing and generous portions. You leave feeling not only full, but fulfilled — body and soul.
And then, there’s the setting: intimate and romantic, with soft lighting and a view that seems plucked from a postcard. Whether you’re seated on the terrace overlooking the sea or indoors surrounded by rustic charm, the ambiance is perfect for a cozy dinner for two, a celebration with friends, or even a quiet moment of reflection with a glass of local wine.
Dining here is not just about food — it’s about connection, emotion, and the joy of shared moments. Gianni and Valeria have created something truly special: a haven of taste and warmth on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the world. This is not just a restaurant. It’s an experience — one that stays with you long after the last sip of limoncello.
If you find yourself on the Amalfi Coast, do not miss the chance to visit this enchanting spot. Come for the food, stay for the love — and leave with a heart full...
Read moreIf you like good, authentic, simple but refined cuisine, please try this joint out. One of the best pizzas we had during our Italian holiday. We had pizza in Naples, and I think this spot still had the best pizza overall. The options for toppings are infinite, but I don't think you can go wrong when the crust, tomato sauce and cheese ratio is so perfect.
The best part of our dinner must have been the service. My only regret is not having the name of our waiter to give him a special shout out here in my review. Young lad with some tattoos (a Juve fan, what a shock to us) who provided lovely service and a nice conversation over dinner. The ambiance was quite pleasant as it was nothing fancy or serious. Just good food, friendly waiter, authentic pizza, what else can you ask from a night out in Italy.
If you want something casual and simple, but still delicious, stop here and spend a splendid evening.
To our friendly waiter, keep up the...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing - the quality and the pride in their produce - don’t go for the obvious picks (our son had a marinara- which tasted great) but as for the seasonal choices - the restaurant backs onto the local market and the team work with what comes in / I had courgette flowers, fresh ricotta and anchovies on my pizza. We also had a shared starter of coquettes and battered vegetables - think tempura - best thing I’ve eaten in Italy. Great and well thought out beer and wine selection. After a average meal on the harbour last night this was a breath of fresh air and was the stand out meal of our week in Sorrento. Also shout out to Al and the team - all were amazingly good humoured and friendly. If this place was in Manchester people would be shouting about this...
