Ristorante U Vurparu — Restaurant in Piraino

For information, I have been at least 10 times at this restaurant, which make my point of view quite objective I think.

First, the service : The waitress are really nice and professional, they are convenient and fast. I worked in few restaurant and I rarely saw a service of this quality.

The food : The quantity are generous and there is a lot of diversity in the menu. You can try a lot of typical sicilian food. As I said they are convenient, which means you can ask for a little bit of everything to try, even the quantity can be ajustable among your desire. The KEY POINT for me is that almost everything is home made AND grown by the restaurant in the area (cheese, vegetables, meat, pasta, etc.). The meals are tasty and healthy.

The cost : It is so much worthy considering the quality of the service, the quality and quantity of the food.

My advice : go without an hesitation and enjoy...

Lovely outdoor seating area. The chairs were very comfortable and the way the tables were laid out was very pretty. The indoor area was also lovely. Toilets and restaurant appeared clean too but I wasn't really looking at that.

Staff were lovely! After eating we each got a free shot of limoncella or something. The staff were very understanding and nice. They were fast too, we barely waited for our food.

The food itself was lovely, we ordered the pork meat rolls and the ravioli, with some sides. Both were delicious but the ravioli was mouthwatering.

Unfortunately, I had quite a bad experience there. I ordered a steak and it came in with all different doneness degrees from raw to medium to very well done. The restaurant was recommended to me as the one that specializes in meat therefore it was a huge let down. Hopefully that was a one time experience but based just on that I wouldn’t...
