BUONGUSTO Pizzeria Ristobar di Francesco — Restaurant in Pisa

This is one that is a bit off of the beaten path. In a quaint restaurant behind a large housing complex, we had delicious authentic Italian foods! I went with a group of 8 and we were seated immediately and received very warmly. Our server was great, spoke English (even though we tried our best to struggle through some Italian haha), and had such a cute personality and wide reaching smile!

Every dish we received was fantastic. The Mussels were in a delicious broth; the octopus was light and delicate; the Calamari was lightly fried and well seasoned; the pizzas had a great dough and delicious sausage. The ingredients tasted fresh and quality, but the prices were shockingly low at the end of the night (we ate everything family style and spent €30/pp - and we ordered a LOT).

It was difficult to remember to take pictures. Once a delicious looking plate is placed in from if a large group, it doesn't usually last long enough for a good photo haha!

I hope life brings me back this way so I can enjoy another...

Hands down the best food and service, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We ordered pasta for lunch, which was the best pasta I’ve ever had…. And then came back the same day for dinner- ordered pizza and roasted veggies. Again, absolutely superb! We were only visiting for the weekend, and spoke zero Italian, but the staff were incredibly patient and helpful too! It has a lovely local neighbourhood vibe, and is an amazing restaurant to grab some good food :) 10/10...

Yes, its far from the “centro” but the prices and what is more important the quality is much better. Thats what I call traditional italian food! The staff was really friendly! Local people love to eat there, no question why! After we found that one we went back multiple time to experience more from the menü. Wish i can...
