Il Covo — Restaurant in Poggibonsi

The worse so far in the entire trip across Italy. Everything, including service was really bad. We ordered medium rare stake and veal. Veal, if it was “veal”, which we really doubt, because it looked and tasted like t-bone pork. It did not taste good either. It was suppose to come with truffle but did not. When we asked the waiter, he brought a little souce on the side later. The steak was also tasteless and chewy. The waiter never appear during the meal and we had to go and find when we had questions. At the end, he charged us for the water that we never ordered (removed charge when wee pointed out). He also charged us 2.50 each for “serving the table” (charge that we don’t understand).
