I definitely recommend anyone who visits Poggibonsi to have at least one meal here. We had in total 8 dinners there and tried nearly every dish. Here are my recommendations: Start with Bruschetta (small), they will prepare different variations for you. Continue with Picci, a typical Tuscany pasta. If you don’t like Picci, the lasagna is good as well. If you like meat, just order the grilled chicken, I am sure you will like it. The fiorentina, trippa and steaks are all good, but their chicken is amazing. At the end, take tiramisu as dessert, they make it simple and smooth. Otherwise, fruit salad, Panna Cotta with either chocolate or berries are also tasty. As for wine, you can take the house wine, which costs 2€ for a glass and it is really good! They also have a wine list if you want to take a whole bottle.
Of course, you don’t have to take every course depending on your budget and how hungry you are. We normally had just 1-2 courses and paid 35-45€ including drinks an...

fun experience. try the lemon sorbet for something different in it's...
Read moreHad a delicious lunch here during our stay in Poggibonsi! We decided to visit after reading the lovely reviews on here, and it really didn't disappoint. The place was bustling with locals enjoying a Sunday lunch, but as tourists we were made to feel really welcome here too. We shared a mixed bruschette to start, and then gnocchi and paperdelle dishes, all lovely quality and generous in size and flavour. We had a carafe of house white wine too, which was also delicious, and the total bill came to €30, which was really excellent value for money. Would...
