Perfect setting Great location Friendly staff Unfortunately poor communication, from the hotel. The toilet only worked around 50% of our stay and was not working as we left The hotel/restaurant has closed early the last night of our stay, so we filled the bin in our room with water to flush the toilet. The shower and basin worked intermittently. No one ever came to tell us that there was/wouldbe a problem. The room although clean and presentable, was close to an electric fan/motor, from the farm behind, that was intermittently working throughout the night and kept us awake. The bar according to Hotel information was open until 23:00 daily, it wasn't during our stay, no communication as to why not. First night a lovely young waiter served us drinks and snacks from the hotel. The room was sporadically made up, again, no communication. Checking out was also a problem as cash was preferred. Later a WhatsApp was sent , with a link to pay. The plants next to our room were over watered and the water caused puddles on the path outside the room, which attracted many small and large wasps, which made it difficult to sit outside the room. My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights. The B&B was in a very quiet and secluded area.

At first glance, everything seemed to be in good order. However, after a while, we started noticing some issues, which is why we gave the rating we did. The staff only spoke Italian, which made communication difficult for us and had to translate everything over phone.

Our booking included free breakfast, but items you'd expect to be included, like eggs, juice, simple bread, cheese,.. came at an extra cost. Even the basic items that should have been served (vegetables that we’ve ordered) were missing, leading to a disappointing breakfast.

Additionally, our room wasn't cleaned between our first and second night, and the toilet was often out of order which caused bad smell.

The dinner was overpriced and not very good. We’ve paid 20EU, for two simple glasses of red wine. Whilst in town you pay that much for a fine aged wine bottle.

In conclusion, it's a nice place, but the service was poor and the overall experience was overpriced. Especially considering what you can get for this price in Puglia, think twice before booking here—there are better...

È la prima volta che mi trovo a fare una recensione non positiva di un locale (in Puglia, poi!), ma sento di voler condividere quest'esperienza che riguarda SOLO il pranzo. Sono stata a pranzo sabato scorso con il mio ragazzo in questa masseria: una splendida location, un posto tranquillo con il parcheggio privato. L'interno della masseria non è da meno: curato, semplice ed elegante. La cameriera che ci ha portato i piatti era gentile. Ordiniamo una portata di antipasti, che sono stati sostanzialmente l'unico cibo che abbiamo apprezzato. Pane e focaccine buoni, olio buono, gli altri antipasti particolari, a gusto possono piacere come non piacere, ma niente da contestare. Arrivati ai primi riceviamo una delusione, soprattutto dopo le aspettative che ci eravamo fatti avendo consultato i social della masseria e avendo letto le recensioni degli utenti. Abbiamo ordinato un risotto al formaggio di capra con agnello al latte al mosto cotto e gelato di mostarda di albicocche (tutto in un unico piatto, il risotto appunto) e un piatto di bottoni di patate al tartufo nero, aragosta, gambero rosso, fave novelle e pak choi. Il primo che ho citato aveva nel complesso un sapore strano, dati gli insoliti accostamenti. I pezzi di agnello inseriti nel risotto non permettevano di gustarlo. Discutibile anche l'aggiunta del gelato di mostarda di albicocche (che di albicocche non sapeva). I bottoni di patate al tartufo nero, però, sono stati la delusione più forte: oltre al fatto che erano presenti solo dei pezzi minuscoli di gambero (dell'aragosta non c'era traccia), i bottoni non erano fatti di patate, ma di pasta all'uovo con patate all'interno. La cosa più assurda, che ci ha fatto sorridere, è che, alla nostra domanda "dov'è il tartufo?", ci è stato risposto che fosse presente nei bottoni, ma che il suo sapore fosse coperto da quello delle patate. Un'affermazione che ci ha fatto molto riflettere. Noi abbiamo prenotato con The Fork, ma i prezzi sono comunque molto alti, soprattutto in rapporto alla proposta che non è stata di nostro gradimento. Un vero peccato perché, attraverso la valorizzazione dei nostri prodotti tipici, come hanno provato a fare negli antipasti che ci hanno servito, questo posto potrebbe essere una chicca nelle campagne...
