La Locanda alla Stazione — Restaurant in Ponte nelle Alpi

After spending a week in the Dolomites doing via ferrata and staying at rifugio's we used this hotel to get us closer to Venice on our last night for our return flight.||||The Owner and staff were very welcoming, we were given a choice of beautiful bedrooms, the bathrooms and showers were fantastic.||||The Hotel is part of an extremely popular restaurant, we arrived at lunch and could see how popular it was so booked for an evening meal and were not disappointed. After a long trip is was great to arrive at La Locanda Alla Stazione, our room was on the 3rd floor and we had lift access. Room was decorated beautifully and the large bathroom was striking with a black and red colour scheme. Huge powerful shower, effective air conditioning, comfortable bed and strong wifi..yes we were happy. The attached restaurant served a delicious dinner, so easy to take the lift back up to our room. Great hotel for the start/end of the AV1. It's right next to the train station (can't hear the trains) which is convenient. The staff were nice - the host particularly eccentric, but funny. Room was very high quality (our only issue was a loud air conditioning machine). Food is excellent, would recommend eating for dinner and it's very reasonably priced too. As a vegetarian, there were options for me too. Breakfast was served early for us, and this...
