Lido Bar — Restaurant in Posthudorra/Porto Torres

We had lunch at the Lido bar with my husband, and it was a fantastic experience. We started with the ricciolo di calamaro, which was beautifully plated and bursting with flavour. It was a lovely way to kick off our meal. For the main course, I ordered the spaghetti al Nero di seppia, and I can confidently say it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had ,second only to my mother's which ,coming from someone Italian, is quite a compliment.The presentation was elegant, it was cooked perfectly al dente, and it truly captured the essence of the sea.My husband chose the pacchero fresco with ragu' al Cannonau,and it was absolutely outstanding. We genuinely loved our meal,and the service was just as impressive as the food.the waiting staff were very attentive,friendly and spoke excellent english. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience from start to finish. If you are in the area,do yourself a favour and stop by this restaurant. Horrible place to eat, we choose the pretentious tasting menu that was a mediocre set of dishes decorated in colourful and tasteless sauces. The service was slow at beginning, they missed one plate (and intended to escape it), and the last two arrived same time and cold. One of us was cheese allergic and, even though we told them a few times, they served him a dish with cheese. We complained to one waiter and then, as a final performance, the owner, a comical man with extremely rude and agressive manners, came to our table and told us that it was our fault for arriving late! My favorite restaurant on Porto Torres. The owners are amazing, hard working people whom work all day, cooking and serving wholeheartedly with a huge smile!

The location and view is the best and you won’t regret trying new things here. All the plates are so unique!!! Also, I love how the head Chef is a woman 🙏 🤩
