I Due Re — Restaurant in Pozzallo

We recently had an enjoyabe lunch experience at Due Re. For those seeking fresh, flavourful seafood, you'd do well to pay this restaurant a vist. Two of us embarked on a delightful journey with the shared fish tasting menu (degustazione). This 17-item adventure showcased a variety of fish, oysters, and shellfish. The highlight was undoubtedly the oysters. While the frittata was the least memorable dish, the overall experience was positive.

The other members of our party opted for the pasta dishes, and they were equally delighted. Both the ravioli and the pappardelle were declared "amazing," boasting perfectly cooked pasta and delicious sauces. Their steaks, however, seemed to fall a bit short.

Due Re also offers pizzas in the evening, so we'll definitely be back to explore that side of the menu next time. Overall, Due Re delighted us with its great seafood and delectable pasta dishes. ...

Very good restaurant! We were with a group of 7 and our host Simone put a great tasting experience together so we can taste a lot of delicious food from Sicily. 100% recommend! Everything we’ve got was so good but I would highly suggest you should try the pizza with Gamba, avocado and burrata cream… really a 10 out of 10! L’unica cosa buona di questo posto è il cibo. Molte cose non vanno bene, iniziando dal posto.

La veranda dà sui bidoni della spazzatura e può capitare che ti ci piazzano vicino - come è successo a noi. Tra l’altro una rete di canapa marroncina divide la veranda e una parte dei bidoncini dell’immondizia, dietro ai quali è piazzato il bidone del vetro. Un cameriere in particolare si divertiva a buttare le bottiglie di vetro con forza così da far rumore e far spaventare i clienti seduti al di là delle rete. Si divertiva perché quando le gente veniva presa di sorpresa dal rumore, il cameriere andava via sorridendo. Era una scena che si è ripetuta per 3 ore nel giro di due orette. In più, abbiamo chiesto più volte che ci venissero spiegati i vini ma purtroppo nessuno è stato in grado. Abbiamo anche chiesto il piccolo mobiletto su cui poggiare il vino e il contenitore pieno di acqua ma aihmè non era possibile averlo.
