Visited a Sunday in October and got an experience far below par for the region. Prices are around standard for restaurants with above average aspirations. Wines are marked up appx 50 % over retail, which is absolutely fine in my own part of the world but somewhat high for local wines in that part.
Main issue, and reason for the score was the food and service. The regional version of Fassone tartar served in the shape of a tennis ball with a few shavings of black truffle and what seemed to be dash of egg yolk sauce. Even if the meat was very crudely minced it was still oddly sticky, sauce and truffle was scarce and gone after a few bites leaving the dish indelicate and imbalanced.
Second dish ordered was sucks but just before serving we were informed there was was no more duck and were talked into a wild boar dish instead. It arrived, luke warm a few minutes after being accepted suggesting it was passed over from another guest. In any case that dish would fail the meatball test at Ikea. Coffee we served with biscuits of which one had clear bite marks seemingly confirming the idea that what's rejected at one table is being passed onto the next.
