This restaurant was walking distance from our hotel so we decided to try it on a whim…And I’m very glad that we did.
The staff was very gracious and seated us without a prior reservation and close to closing time.
They have a very, very large selection of local wines to chose from. We ended up sampling 5 of red wines and every single option was as a win.
The chicken liver patte and wild boar ragu were the collective stars of the show for our dinner experience. And I would happily reorder both options on multiple future occasions. The lamb chops and bone in ribeye(also from local farms) were both extremely tasty.
When the check arrived, we were both shocked at how low the cost of the meal was. Just over 100 Euros for a 3 course dinner meal for 2 with LOTS of wine. And we even got a pizza to go!
