IL CALAMARE' Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Ravenna

The food was pretty good and the ambiente overall was ok, but the service was one of the worst I‘ve ever experienced. I‘m sure not all waiters there are the same. Unfortunately, ours seemed to have a sour day and also seemed to be the boss of the whole operation there. Just leaving our table mid-sentence to do whatever. Throwing my sunglasses on the floor and just pointing and them for me to pick them up. Some of these things can happen and I have no problem with that. I have an issue with the unapologetic way he handled everything. Almost like we were a nuisance to him even being there. Again, food was great. Service...

The pizza was the best out of all the local restaurants we've tried, it was really REALLY good! The pasta was also good, but if the pasta weren't good there would be something wrong with the world. We didn't try any fish, but from what we saw with other patrons there, the fish are excellent.

The service was a bit slow and we had to ask for parmesan twice before we got it. Other than that the place was clean and had plenty of space to sit (inside and outside).

Parking spaces are a problem as the restaurant doesn't have their own paring spaces, but that's a problem for all the restaurants on this...

Best italian food in town! We had 4 dinners during a 5 day holiday at the Il Calamare restaurant; friendly staff, short waiting times, amazing italian wine. Would love to hear more italian music to get an authentic italian ambiente. We'll definitely come...
