A Wonderful Evening at Borroncino – Fantastic Food and Warm Hospitality
We visited Borroncino yesterday with two adults and two children, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish.
The service was outstanding – warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The hostess, in particular, was incredibly welcoming and kind, which made us feel right at home.
The food was excellent. We had a variety of fresh pasta dishes and a filet steak. At first, I was surprised that no one asked how I wanted the steak cooked – but once it arrived, I understood why: the chef clearly knows exactly what he’s doing. It was cooked perfectly medium rare, incredibly tender, and absolutely delicious.
My wife had the truffle pasta, which was beautifully balanced – rich in flavor without being overpowering. Our kids had pasta al ragù, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

Read moreAn absolute must if you're visiting the area. The classic mix of unassuming, unpretentious decor and menu with absolutely top quality Tuscan / Italian dishes. From the moment I sat down I knew I was in for a treat just by allowing the waiter (highly entertaining and an excellent guide through the meal) to advise and recommend. We took the pasta tris which allowed us to taste the top quality variety of sauces but above all appreciate the fresh hand-rolled pasta which is the speciality of the house. The dessert was delicious too The wine was an excellent accompanying choice and everything at a very reasonable price. So a real, authentic gastronomic journey....

We actually went there twice during our stay in Regello. Once for lunch where we had the delicious antipasti and the trio of pasta. Then again for dinner where we needed toothy the Bistecca Fiorentina! It was both times delicious.
We have ordered quite a bit of the Bistecca (1,9kg for 4, we also had appetizers). I would recommend for 4 persons to aim at 1,2-1,4 kg, but this is just a personal preference.
The service was kind and attentive, allergies were greatly accommodated and we had a great time at this restaurant. Can only...
