Ristorante Pizzeria American Bar — Restaurant in Ribera

A dissapointing experience. I went for lunch and they do not serve pizza at lunch, only at supper. Not all the items on the lunch menu were available because they were missing certain ingredients therefore the selection became more limited. I ordered a breaded chicken breast because I cannot eat fish or seafood, and half of my chicken was still raw and I could not eat it. The waiter brought no condiments to go with my French fries despite the fact that there was a table with all the condiments on it near the entrance door. He brought a basket of bread but again did not bring any oil to go with it which was also on the condiment table. When I showed the owner that my chicken was raw he discounted just the chicken but charged me €5 for the fries that were on the plate which weren't even a handful of fries. And he even went so far as to charge me for my coffee, which normally is included with the meal; however, even if it wasn't included, after being served raw chicken one would think that as a courtesy it would have been included. I would not recommend going here and I will never be going...

We had just arrived at our B & B in the countryside and were directed to this bar as we were tired and had been driving all day and had as yet not discovered where to eat in the area. The owners were so welcoming. The bar looks very standard but does face the sea. We chose the tourist menu for just 15 Euros a head and we were pleasantly surprised.
