Ristorante Spigola — Restaurant in Rimini

DO NOT GO HERE! FOREIGNERS NOT WELCOME! Let me try to summarize our experience. We were the first guests of the day. At arrival we were already greated with disapproving looks and got the worst table as far away from the entrance as possible and closest to the busy street. Trying our best with limited knowledge we ordered food and trinks in italian. After one HOUR we started to get worried watching other guests already finishing food and leaving while we still did not get anything. We tried to ask one of the waiters but even that was easier said than done because if you don´t speak fluent italian and want to try in english they will avoid you like the plague. In we went with a translator app in hand explaining the situation and asking what the issue was. Even with the translator it was tough. We sat down again for another 30 minutes without any food. Second try! We go in and try to tell them that we just want to pay for our drinks and leave since we are clearly NOT welcome. After being shouted at by 2 waiters and the chef our request was (surprise) denied. We set down for 15 more minutes. Still no food. Waiters still avoiding us completely. Let me tell you, that was the first time in our live that we had to dip because even us wanting to pay was not working out. On that day we experienced first hand what DISCRIMINATION feels like and let me tell you it sucks... This really was not how we imagined our last dinner of the vacation to go down. Again... Mi scuso per la confusione e gli errori, lascio il mio feedback dopo nuove emozioni e non nella mia lingua madre. Per le persone che cercano un posto dove mangiare deliziosamente, dirò che è necessario visitare questo ristorante per i seguenti motivi: Cibo eccellente con frutti di mare (tutto dall'aspetto al gusto del piatto è impressionante) 2.Una buona atmosfera nel ristorante e un personale cordiale che è sinceramente interessato alla tua soddisfazione nel mangiare . 3.Anche il prezzo è ragionevole e non ha superato le nostre aspettative, perché siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi quando, dopo un pasto meraviglioso e del tempo trascorso con la famiglia, abbiamo visto la quantità di denaro sul conto inferiore alle nostre aspettative. Come motivo individuale, aggiungerò emozioni e stati d'animo che continuano anche dopo aver visitato un ristorante (è meraviglioso quando dopo aver visitato un ristorante il tuo umore e la tua forza aumentano più volte). Inoltre, separatamente da me, vorrei ringraziare il chef del ristorante Spigola, non ho mai incontrato tante persone così dedite e gentili in vita mia, incontrarlo è un piacere speciale durante il quale voglio esprimere adeguatamente la mia gratitudine (che, purtroppo, personalmente ho problemi a causa della mia mancanza di lingua abilità) per il cibo e l'interesse per le visite. Essendo una persona piuttosto chiusa, non sono molto interessato alle altre persone, vedo come una sorta di miracolo che una persona possa avere così tanta forza per una tale manifestazione di attenzione. E, di Naturalmente, un ringraziamento speciale per l'opportunità data a me e alla mia famiglia di trascorrere una serata incredibilmente piacevole, soddisfacendo direttamente e superando tutte le nostre aspettative che avevamo sulla cucina italiana. Alla fine, auguro sinceramente a questo ristorante e alle persone che ci lavorano la massima prosperità, perché potrebbe non essere per tutti, ma per noi oggi hanno fatto un piccolo miracolo))...Spero sinceramente che leggano questa...

Very annoying experience…. Had made a reservation at 6:30 for 8pm the same day which was confirmed online! When we arrived at 8pm, our reservation was not on their list. We were then informed that they received our request only 70min ahead of time, which was too late for them. We were offered a table for 45min which was too little for a nice evening dinner at a decent restaurant (maybe ok for McDonald). Therefore we had to look on a Saturday night for something else.

Very disappointing, especially since tables were still available, and we didn’t cause the trouble. If restaurant offers online service, they should...
