Ristorante tipico toscano "Guidoriccio" - CUCINA casalinga MAREMMANA - Location per CERIMONIE ed EVENTI a Montemassi — Restaurant in Roccastrada

We had dinner here twice, once for two, once for six. The atmosphere is typically Italian. You sit outside under holm oaks on very comfortable chairs. The tables are large and beautifully decorated. For antipasti, the first time we had a cheese platter with three different types of cheese, all of which were excellent. The second course was a pizza and once the menu of the day, tagliatelle with seafood and nuts (at least it tasted like it). Both dishes very delicious. They were accompanied by half a litre of red house wine, which was also very good. The second time I ordered the Tris Mare as antipasti - excellent with a little pepper, salt and olive oil. Then a carpiciosa. In total we had 3 pizzas and 3 times the wild boar steak with vegetables on the side. The wild boar was incredibly good, just on the point and garnished with spicy cheese. The bread included is fresh and suitable for Tuscan conditions (unfortunately a little too little salt). The restaurant is to be recommended! The service is...

After a first dinner (4 people, including 2 kids), without any trouble, a second dinner with an amount of errors (which can of course occur),missing dishes, we came this evening a third time.

At our arrival we were entirely ignored by some member of the staff, after 5 minutes of waiting we were installed at a table and letted there sitting for 40 minutes. During that time new groups of people arrived and have been installed and served. My wife observed, during that time some member of the staff, staying with crossed arms and others getting served. We've never been served, we simply left after those 40 minutes waiting time and drove back home.

We had the feeling that we were being entirely avoided that evening, due to the fact maybe that we were strangers or non locals.

Third and last time in...

A welcome oasis after a long drive from the airport. Food is excellent, good choice of beers (liked the Peroni Gran Riserva Rossa). We arrived around 9:30pm and the restaurant was still busy. We were seated on the terrace with drinks within 10 minutes of arriving and the food followed soon after. We had pizzas and some pasta dishes. All were good and reasonably priced. We were able to talk to the staff in a mixture of Italian and English (and some accidental Spanish!). They were patient and good natured. We left...
