Wow. This place across the road from the Ionian sea is the place to be for the finest seafood..it began with smoked, cured, on the shell antipasto, the three friends who took me there suggested i eat minimum bread, as there was much more to come. Man they were right, courses, and more courses of the most delicious, mouthwatering fresh seafood i have tasted in all my years in Calabria. The courses seemed endless, one taste sensation after another, then the home made linguini with clams in a clear sauce, then finally the scampi, lightly cooked to a turn. Then desserts, five or so tall torte triangles.Then the liquor trolly, whisky to amaro and coffee. A food experience. You will love it, and whomever you take will be very, very impressed. The name really fits well. Truly...

For your own sake, avoid the from them suggested antipasto. They came um with 10 different plates of seafood. The dishes were boring and loveless. I could swear some items were convenience food from the grocery store. By the end of that tour de torture, we were so full that we barely could move and could not order the food we were craving for or went there for in the first place. Cutlery were dirty and glasses had still stains of lipstick and water on it. Looks super fancy when you walk in but i think the manager needs to push their staff to the level they’d like to have the restaurant at. Also, they should get some upgrade in the kitchen, a little bit of passion would be nice too and...

Un’esperienza che non ripeterò mai. Prenotiamo un tavolo per 5 persone alle ore 22:00 dato che prima era tutto pieno. Arrivati all’ora stabilita la sala è strapiena, senza un tavolo libero (tantomeno il nostro prenotato) con una fila di persone in piedi ad attendere per mangiare. In 35 minuti di attesa in piedi, ci viene detto più volte che il nostro tavolo era in preparazione. Parto con il dire che preferisco di gran lunga un ristorante che mi comunica che è tutto pieno e quindi di tentare un altro giorno, piuttosto che uno che per prendere la prenotazione a tutti i costi mi dà un tavolo che devo aspettare 35 minuti per vedere (una cena a quasi le 23 di sera), oltretutto la presa in giro di dirci che il nostro tavolo era in preparazione. Dunque alle 22:35 ci sediamo, senza bicchieri, tovaglioli e posate, e di certo non per una negligenza del personale di sala che correva a destra e manca pur di assistere le TROPPE persone presenti. Antipasti mediocri mangiati senza i bicchieri per l’acqua. In generale il cibo non era nulla di eccezionale per quello che poi abbiamo pagato. I prezzi? Un furto e una presa in giro ulteriore: 4 antipasti base, 2 fritture, 1 primo, 5 dolci e una bottiglia di vino 250€. Una FOLLIA, io personalmente, che ho mangiato solo antipasto e dolce ho pagato 50€! In cassa chiediamo di conteggiare bene, dato che non abbiamo ordinato quasi nulla e ci viene anche detto che il denaro chiesto è stato calcolato in base a ciò che abbiamo preso. Una presa in giro, ditemi voi se vi sembra un prezzo adeguato a ciò che abbiamo ordinato. L’unica nota “”positiva””, se cosi vogliamo definirla, era il personale che nonostante l’evidente difficoltà a coprire tutti i coperti, ha cercato di fare il massimo nel servizio. Non ripeterò mai più l’errore di venirci a mangiare e anzi, tornassi indietro già vedendo più di mezz’ora di attesa per avere un tavolo già prenotato in precedenza me ne andrei senza nemmeno consumare. Evitate, ci sono posti di gran lunga migliori...
