Dar Zagaia — Restaurant in Rome

nice and wild beach! the water is very clean and the sand is yellow, not black like in Ostia. But.. the are some men, from Egypt or Marocco, sitting in front of the entrance to the beach and demanding money from you, once you have park your car. Even if you find a place yourself, and park the car without anyone helping you, a rude man appears and asks for 2-3 eur! I didnt give it last time and got in the big discussion! They say they work there for years now( not legal, ofcourse), and they " watch" the cars.. aka who knows how will you find your car, scratched or not, if you dont pay. The tone they use to speak to people is rude too! People give those 2 or 3 eur, because they are afraid! It shouldnt be like that! Not sure if Ill go back to that place. The beach is nice, but dealing with those guys every time...

The food was very tasty, especially fish starters, but our friends had to wait 1 hr for their spaghetti alle vongole AFTER we received our main dishes. No apology of any kind was offered, the staff stated that the kitchen is too small to handle the demand. After we pointed out that many tables got their food before us (while we arrived before), we got the ridiculous excuse that we DID NOT ASK TO EAT AT THE SAME TIME (4 people). Service needs to improve...

premetto che in 44 anni di vita non sono mai stato in questo posto perché preferisco altri lidi però ieri sera ero a cena con mia sorella ed il marito che ringraziando Dio hanno una buona posizione socio-culturale e vivono a Londra, loro sono innamorati di questo stabilimento e d'estate appena sono a roma per trascorrere giorni spensierati di ferie vanno presso questo posto. Nel fine settimana scorso sono arrivati dopo pranzo ed hanno chiesto due lettini ed un ombrellone, di solito dopo le 14 il titolare non faceva più pagare a prezzo pieno l'intera giornata ma un prezzo ridotto, questa volta per mia sorella ed il marito non è stato così perché il capo ha deciso che dovevano pagare il prezzo pieno perché così gli girava! Mia sorella ha fatto notare che di solito dopo le 14 le altre volte lo stesso praticava prezzo ridotto e lui si infastidiva e con tono seccato li invitava ad andare in altri stabilimenti. Tutto ok ci può stare perché comanda lui, la cosa che più brucia che ultimamente abbiamo fatto una forte campagna di pubblicità per mandare persone di un certo livello a pranzo (ambasciatori, amministratori dellegati ecc ecc) e il gestore ha trattato a pezze in faccia mia sorella, il marito e la figlia neonata. Caro Signore non la conosco ma i soldi e i beni materiali non ce li porteremo nell'aldilà! Buoni affari. Pierluigi Shrivastava...
