Location/Atmosphere: Not central. In the south-east area of Rome. The place is in a common road in a residential neighbourhood. Not other restaurants or pubs around. The restaurant is small. The only cuban eating place in the capital.
Food: Food is good. Ropa vieja and Manioca are very good. Cocktails too. Prices are good, portions a bit small.
Staff: The staff is nice, but sometimes they don't reply to the phone, they are not very clear... I feel like they are very easy-going, like very much.
Particular features: n/a
On a bad note: a bit out of the downtown area, and not in a very well-lighted neighbourhood.
Suggestions to the restaurant: Toilets could be improved....

I do suggest that you set up your expectations correctly...let me explain...if you have ever been in cuba you will notice that service is great here actually, Cubans are not going to follow all fancy etiquetes, thats not what food and experience is about in an authentic Cuban restaurant like this one and I have tried many around the...

I was expecting plantains chips from a bag, but they were freshly made. My husband keep saying that the congri was the best he ever had! I love white rice fried eggs and avocado combination, of course that’s not in the menu, I asked if they can possibly make it for me, and they did and it was amazing!! Mojitos were delicious as well. They were very attentive and kind. This place is a hidden gem. Give it a try,...
