Spizzala — Restaurant in Rome

This was hands down my favorite restaurant in all of Rome, the food was always fantastic, the Tiramisu was amazing, every pizza I had was fantastic the staff new me by name after my second visit. Service was always amazing, the staff spoke very little English but were super accommodating and worked with me. The salads were nice, everything was reasonably priced. I stayed in Rome 10 nights, of those 10 I spent at least seven times eating at this place. While I understand that its kind of out of the way and you can probably get comparable food in the city center the people and the ambiance make it well worth the visit. 10/10. Serata tremenda e completamente rovinata. Neanche ci sediamo al tavolo e involontariamente la cameriera rovescia per intero addosso alle 2 ragazze sedute al mio tavolo due birre medie. Risultato: una delle due ragazze con maglietta e reggiseno completamente bagnato, e pantaloni. L'altra ragazza invece con tutto il fianco destro bagnato, e tutta la borsa. La cameriera si è scusata e non ci siamo minimamente arrabbiati, ma le due ragazze colpite sono state costrette a passare la serata con vestiti fradici addosso, chiedendo continuamente di chiudere una porta laterale a noi vicina perché tremavano dal freddo, ma che veniva riaperta da chi voleva fumare, praticamente con il fumo di sigaretta che rientrava nel locale, costringendoci anche di continuo ad alzarci per chiuderla. Io pensavo che dopo questo madornale almeno si facessero perdonare con il conto: io al loro posto avrei almeno offerto la cena alle ragazze, che tra l'altro spero riescano a smacchiare i loro vestiti. E invece arrivato lo scontrino c'erano pure delle consumazioni non fatte da noi per totale di 15 euro aggiuntivi a quello che abbiamo mangiato. Per fortuna la cameriera ricordava cosa ci aveva portato, abbiamo pagato quindi la nostra parte per intero. Serata terrificante, capisco bene che può succedere un inconveniente ma la prossima volta chi gestisce il locale dovrebbe capire come si trattano i clienti e cosa vuol dire averne rispetto. Uno va a mangiare fuori per passare una serata piacevole e non per farsela rovinare. Mai fatta una recensione così negativa ma francamente come siamo stati trattati è stato vergognoso e indecente. It's been two years that i go to this place. Warm and Cheering Pizza/Restaurant take-away. It's just 200m out of GRA. Pizzas take-away are just the best: the crunchiness, the mix, the fresh ingredients make Spizzala's Pizza the 1st Choice from TripAdvisor. The Staff is really competent and charmy.
