Vacca Grassa Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Rome

Simply amazing!!! We made a reservation. here hoping it would be “close” to our hotel. It was a good distance. We are staying close to the airport because of an early morning flight. As we kept driving, we all wondered if we should turn around. Thank goodness we did not! The service was excellent. The house wine is an effervescent white that is delicious. It is light, fruity and amazing. It paired perfectly with fish and red meat! We had lamb chops and zucchini frita. Both were excellent. My son and I had a spicy pasta, my daughter a bolognese and my husband carbanaro. All so very delicious. The last course was charcoal cooked meat. You cannot go wrong with any selection. The food was amazing and worth the drive. Bring bug spray as most dining options are outdoors. I forgot to mention the bread for the table. It is pizza shaped but simply dressed with salt and very little olive oil. It is so delicious and could be a meal unto itself. The last thing I will mention is the limoncello. It is house made. Rumor has it that the alcohol is blessed by the Pope. I am not questioning that as it was some of the best we had in Italy!! Right before the restaurant is a zoo. We had no time to visit but I’m sure if you timed it right, you could do both!...

Siamo molto dispiaciuti per questa cena....date le recensioni lette ci aspettavamo qualcosa di meglio.. Il problema?! Non c'era nulla. Siamo arrivati e la prima cosa a mancare era la Coca-Cola!!! Quando mai!!! Mai capitato che mancasse in un ristorante! Andiamo avanti ordiniamo, antipasti...salmone affumicato 3 porzioni, sote di cozze, alici fritte, polpo con le patate, arrivano i primi due salmoni e arriva la notizia che il sote di cozze è finito perché sennò non ci sono le cozze per i primi...alici fritte finite, prendiamole marinate che quelle ci sono....arriva una focaccia con insieme la notizia che non vi sono più né le alici marinate,ne la 3' porzione di salmone, ne il polpo con le patate....sono terminati gli antipasti di pesce!!! Chiediamo al posto di uno degli antipasti di pesce la ricotta con miele, aspettiamo più o meno mezz'ora, un'ora e un quarto da quando siamo arrivati, e cominciano ad arrivare alcuni dei primi...chiediamo l'ultimo antipasto chiesto, indovinate???? Non c'è nemmeno la ricotta!!! A questo punto abbiamo chiesto se i primi ordinati e i secondi sarebbero arrivati o meno, fortunatamente si.... vabbè che altro dire....sono passate 2 ore e mezza di cena disastrosa e possiamo andare a casa!!! Scusate dimenticavo...la scusa per questo disastro è stata:" domani siamo chiusi perché di riposo il lunedi se venite...

If negative evaluations could be made, I would give at least three stars less, and not one can let me publish. It is presented as a restaurant specializing in grilled meat. They do. Poor quality and doubt about the provenance. Durable, fat, or badly cooked. The first scots and eternal expectations. Starters nothing to remember. Owners: cafons, rude, and ignorant. The staff despite everything is kind and helpful but not responsible. One thing you notice is that the room staff is not always the same, after some visits between my personal and friends friends, they "spin" a lot, few of them stable. "Terrible" is too little.

Si se pudiera hacer evaluaciones en negativo que le daría al menos tres estrellas en menos, al no ser un poder me permite publicar. Aparece como restaurante especializado en carnes a la brasa. Ellos no tienen ninguno. De mala calidad y también en duda el origen indicado. Dura, grasiento, o mal cocinados. Las primeras expectativas demasiado cocidas y eterno. Entrantes nada que recordar. Los propietarios: campesinos, grosero e ignorantes. El personal es amable y servicial a pesar de todo, pero sin responsabilidad. Una cosa que se nota, el personal no es siempre la misma, después de unas visitas en mi personal y las de sus amigos, "giran" muy pocas las estables. "Terrible" es...
