Trattoria Mariuta — Restaurant in Ronchi dei Legionari

If you have to define the most family oriented restaurant in the Ronchi dei Legionari area you can't miss "La Mariuta". Situated close to the Trieste airport, this small out-of-the-way fish restaurant should be on one's stop before flying out or when using nearby towns as a home base for Udine, Palmanova and Trieste excursions. The staff is super friendly, engaging and respectful to all types of customers, whether local or from neighbouring countries (Slovenia and Austria proximity).

Fish dishes were prepared impeccably and just the right amount of quantity. Wines are local to the area, predominantly Friulano Tocai or Refosco, or the traditional Prosecco. Fantastic local seafood restaurant that we can highly recommend. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was spot on, and it really felt like a place the locals love too. The wine list was also impressive, with great options to pair with the meal, and the staff were happy to help with recommendations. Sono un'assidua frequentatrice e rimango sbigottita davanti alla pochezza di certe persone. La Mariuta è una garanzia: propone sempre primizie nostrane selezionando la materia prima a un prezzo obiettivamente imbattibile. Sono stata a pranzo sia ieri che oggi mangiando le pappardelle con le canoce o cicale di mare e gli spaghetti quadrati con le telline di Grado! Tutto strepitoso! Oltre alle moleche, la gransievola e alle capelunghe ai ferri. Tutto buonissimo, fresco e di qualità servito da un personale gentile, disponibile e all'altezza del posto. Chi non apprezza è meglio che lasci perdere... è sempre un regalo mangiare primizie stagionali cucinate con passione e dedizione! Consigliatissimo anche per una tartina e aperitivo easy: sia i vini che gli affettati sono di qualità eccellente! Il vino della casa è ottimo e in mescita tante eccellenze di tutto il territorio!
