Ristorante Rivafiorita — Restaurant in Ronciglione

Lago di Vico is a nice day trip from Rome and there are a few restaurants along the shore to stop and enjoy a meal. We went to Rivafiorita (reservations suggested) for a late lunch. Pros: great location, good service, generous wine portions, beach longer chairs available on certain days for restaurant patrons Cons: the food seemed like it had been prepped earlier in the day and was reheated. I definitely recommend going earlier in the day. We tried the fried fish, lamb with potatoes, salad and cheesecake. The salad was nice and fresh but dripping with oil! Recently visited friends living near Lago di Vico, and with the beautiful view, i thought we'd have a lovely dinner.

Sadly, the service- and food- was terrible. We ordered 3 different dinner items, but none of the items had any flavor. When we looked for our waiter, it took 5-7 minutes to find him. (not expecting immediate assistance, but he should have at least circled back to see how we were doing & if we need anything)!

Nice pasta but the portion size is too small. The crispy chicken was almost cold and I found hair in my food. I got a side of oven potatoes and they were also cold and very chewy almost like rubber.
