We found excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and good prices so we gave it a try. The interior is modern and airy and made us feel welcoming. Very good glass and tableware. The menu is in Italian only and we left our phones at home to charge. The waitress tried to explain, the rest we had to infer. The wine selection was excellent and well priced at €4 a glass. There was a good selection of mains. My husband chose the slow cooked beef (we think it was cheek) on mash which was truly tender and tasty. I opted for the Carbonara- when in Italy…. It was a sad dish - very yellow, no sauce and no taste. It was garnished with a few bits of speck. I tried to eat it but it just became drier, so I left it. Strangely, the waitress did not enquire as to why she cleared a full plate of food, even though there was only one other table. I’m sure there is more to the restaurant than our experience but I’mnot sure if we...
Read moreWe didn’t have reservations which I think is a must in the summer months. They still were able to seat us quickly. The main issue was that other larger tables were getting their food served before us and we ordered well before them. We ended up having to leave early to catch a bus and were not able to finish our meal because it took so long. Second course was removed from our bill because it did not come out for a long time and we had to leave. The food we did...

Situazione diametralmente opposta all’esperienza precedente, insomma.
